- www.thecpsu.org.uk The Child Protection in Sport Unit. The CPSU is a partnership between Sport England and the NSPCC.
They provide advice for parents, children, clubs, and schools.
If you are ensure about any issue regarding child protection in sport they are an excellent first port of call.

explains the standards for protecting and safeguarding children in sport.
- www.childline.org.uk Childline is the free, 24 hour helpline for children and young people in the UK.
Children and young people can call free phone on 0800 1111 about any problem, at any time – day or night.
- www.1st4sport.com Sports coach UK and Coachwise 1st4sport have also developed a Child Protection Pack that
contains good practice and resources for working with children in sport.
- www.bullying.co.uk This site has lots of advice for children about dealing with bullying,
and has useful links to other advice sites.
- National Governing Bodies – The national governing body of your sport will have information on child protection policies and practice,
particularly those that are specific to their sport. Use the useful links on the sport section to locate the appropriate organisation.
