Learning

Leeds is one of the largest cities in the UK, and as such has an excellent range of schools and places of further education. Whether you're an adult looking for extra qualifications, or a parent looking for the best place to send their children, we aim to provide you with access to all the advice and support you need.

Education doesn't just involve studying but a whole array of issues such as where to get school uniforms, how to spot bullying and tackle it, or where can I learn to improve my English. It can also mean becoming a skilled professional such as a joiner, electrician or plumber, as well as learning practical skills like first aid courses or teaching English as a foreign language.

Just browse the tabs on the left hand side to find out more about what you can do, and what Leeds can do for you.

Are you worried about your child starting Secondary School?

Getting involved is a video for parents of children who are moving from primary to secondary school. The move from primary to secondary school is an exciting time for children as they step from one phase of education into another - a new phase that leads to increased independence in learning, and presents new challenges and fresh opportunities to achieve and make progress.
